Orlando City SC announced it has opened terrace seating and unveiled an aggressive campaign to secure another sellout for the Club’s 2016 Major League Soccer (MLS) home opener on Mar. 6 against Real Salt Lake at the Orlando Citrus Bowl. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m.
The campaign, #FillTheBowlAgain, looks to repeat the success of the Club’s MLS debut in 2015, which drew 62,510 fans for the team’s inaugural home game. That historic match set the tone for the Lions’ entire home season, as Orlando City drew an average of 32,947 fans to the Orlando Citrus Bowl.
Orlando City will host its annual Kickoff Week, featuring events such as the Purple Pride 5K, the Orlando City Pub Crawl and more. Admission to each event will include a ticket to the opening match on Mar. 6.
